Riina Kandolin, MD, PhD, has been awarded the prestigious Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship. Working under the supervision of Rob Beanlands, MD, and Lisa Lisa Mielniczuk, MD, Kandolin will be investigating the neurohormonal adverse remodelling in chronic heart failure and evaluating a novel imaging approach in the treatment of right heart failure. Dr. Kandolin will start her Fellowship at the UOHI in the fall of 2017. Congratulations to Dr. Kandolin!
